John Kannenberg, head of the lowercase label Stasisfield lives in Evanston near Chicago and as an inhabitant of the Northern part of the United States he seems to have experienced some serious winters already.
Last year he sent us an intriguing six part concept work called gelidus (which means "ice" in latin) evolving around the idea to put the impression of extreme cold into a soundwork. Supported by the extraordinarily nice 12-page-booklet, this release comes in a clear DVD-case and is best to be heard with the heating turned off!!
