Formication is Alec Bowman & Kingsley Ravenscroft, an incredible
experimental electronica duo from Nottingham in the UK. Described by The Wire
magazine as ‘sonic occultists’, they can be found “wandering a dream landscape
somewhere between the ritual ambience of Coil and the electronic space drift of
Tangerine Dream”. Frantic comparisons to the disparate sounds of Can, Pole,
Throbbing Gristle and many others in the press illustrate one thing: the sound of
Formication is unique.
